ⓘ Terms & Conditions
1. Privacy
All personal information shared between the client and the commissioner must remain confidential. The commissioner reserves the right to decline any request for any reason.2. Pricing
Final pricing depends on the complexity, content, quantity, and deadline of the project. Rush fees apply if the deadline is within 72 hours or if the request includes more than five items or complex designs such as magazines. A minimum rush fee of 25% will be applied. For more information, read here.3. Payment
A 50% downpayment is required before the commissioner starts the project. The remaining 50% is due before the final files are sent. Refunds will not be issued if the client cancels after payment.4. Content Policy
Clients must provide all necessary text, images, and other content. The commissioner will not create content on the client’s behalf. The commissioner is not liable for any consequences resulting from the client's use of the design.5. Usage & Licensing
Clients must accurately declare the intended use of the design. Personal use designs must not be resold or used for profit. Commercial use will be charged at two times or more of the base price. A selling license will require an additional 50% fee. If the client does not want the work published by the commissioner, a 30% non-publication fee will apply. More information on usage can be found here.6. Revisions & Deadlines

Unauthorized removal of watermarks or falsely claiming the work as one’s own may lead to both a permanent ban and public disclosure of the incident.10. Carrd Commissions
Carrd-based projects have additional requirements. You can view them here.11. Final Note
These terms may only be modified if both the client and commissioner agree. By submitting a request, the client confirms that they understand and accept these terms.
| Personal Use | Commercial Use | |
|---|---|---|
| Definition | Designs used exclusively for private, non-revenue-generating purposes. | Designs intended for financial gain or any activity that benefits a business or entity. |
| Key Feature | No financial gain or indirect benefit. | Direct or indirect connection to revenue generation or brand identity. |
Private Sharing If you share a design privately with friends or family through email or messaging, it’s still personal as long as it doesn’t promote a product, service, or brand.
School Projects When you use a visual for a classroom presentation or a school report, it remains personal as long as it’s used only in the academic setting and not for any public or professional purpose.
Using a Design Without Selling It You commission a banner for your business’s opening day. Even if the banner isn’t for sale, it serves a commercial purpose by promoting your brand.
Monetizing Personal Use Posting art on social media seems personal, but if the design leads to paid opportunities like brand collaborations or commissions, it becomes commercial use.
Non-Profit or Charity Projects It’s not "for profit," so it feels personal, right? Designs used to fundraise, promote, or support an organization are considered commercial use because they benefit the organization.
Templates and Stock Graphics You commission a template for "personal use only" and use it in a business presentation. This is commercial use, as the design supports a business activity.
